I got my endli a month or two ago at relatively the same size or slightly bigger. He was somewhere around 17-20$ I believe so I think you overpayed a bit for that guy. Not sure what a good dust bichir is so I can’t advise on that.

Word! Well the deed is done and time for it to grow now.
Gold dust bichir is Polypterus palmas buettikoferi. Although now it’s just P. Palmas.
he should grow pretty fast. My endli has doubled in size in two months ish.
ok that makes sense. I can’t give advice on the price for Palmas I’ve never seen those at my lfs.
P.s. I got a 7 inch teugelsi for like 40$ so be wary of the price for that.

Try Paducah KY. Sucks. I used to live in Ohio and there were decent shops in Youngstown, and lots of great stores in Cleveland!! And then in Oregon, and they had lots in Portland; even in little towns like Corvallis. But maybe that’s mostly changing times… Now I almost never can buy locally.
