Male was WC frempongi, mom was WC fasciatushybrid of what?
These are Hemichromis Fasciatus. The pictures on the net are not accurate which is why the names get mixed up all the time. Hemichromis Elongatus is the smallest of the 5 spots species. They have a completely different color to them and tend to get some reds between the 5 spots.To me, IMO, the look like Hemichromis elongatus. Like a regular 5-star general cichlid. Anyone else have a picture of a large one? Like 6-12" ,maybe??? I've never seen one in person. Only in a book or on the internet. Thanks.
