You gave your actual experience with the pumps…
It was commented that the bulk of the other posts were working off of second hand information and your post was real, hands on info.
No experience with this particular pump, but have worked with a number of others like it.
The bulk of them are too loud for in house use.
They are energy hogs, because they were designed for intermittent use, unless they were made for pond/waterfall usage, and this one was not.
The one being looked at is oil cooled. All the cooling oil is just a seal away from contaminating whatever it is in. That is the "rainbow" slick mentioned, oil.
Lots of gph for the dollar, but I`ll pass.
