I'm just curious how big do they get because I got a group of 8 x 5"-6" Clown Loaches on hold for me at my LFS which I will be picking up in the next few weeks.

Is the hybrid going in the 450?

If so, i would think the 225 would be a nice home for them.

How big is the Tig?

They hit a growth wall around 6", so if you're buying them at that size you should expect them to grow very slow from now on...

Yes the RTC/TSN will be going into the 450 once he reaches 12+" which should be really quick. He grew from 3" to 6" in less then 1 month in my 38g. Also my Tigrinus is just pushing 10" and I don't think he would bother the Loaches at 6" cuz he won't even touch a large size feeder. My birchirs are around 10"-11". Another question is would the Loaches be ok with a Asian Aro(Red)?

I dont know man... Those are some big predators. Remember Loaches have suborbital spines like little razors under each eye. Best-case scenario=peaceful coexistence. Worst-case scenario=loaches stuck in another fish's throat, killing one or both of them. Loaches are pretty good at outrunning predators, though.

Some pics of some of the largest loaches I ever imported. They will get big but it takes forever.
