A 28" LMB is darn near a world record!

My largest went 24" (measured) and I quesstimated her to be 7-10lbs, maybe more. She is the only fish Ive regretted releasing. :(
NOT IF ITS A SKINNY LIL MALE 10-12 LBS. MAX,IF ITS OUT OF A RIVER PROBLY EVEN LIGHTER. RECORDS GO BY WEIGHT NOT LENGTH

Doubt it, males rarely get over 5 pounds. Was probably a female.
And please, stop using caps...it's just plain annoying, unless you like people disliking you. ;)
Pics or I don't believe you.

schneider Yes that is wolf lake just west of the toll road but still in Indiana water. Check out wolflakefishing.com some time if you get a chance

Males rarely get over 4lbs and thats generally in Cali where they freak strained Northerns and Florida to get as big as they do. Japan did just catch a 22lb 5oz bass but thank god its not enough to de-thrown perry's bass also there is speculation it was caught in illegal waters. Northern strain do live longer do to the dormant winter months. Yes they can grow as big as Florida but in general it does not happen do to less fertile waters and a much less period in the year for feeding. Someone said they saw a 25lb fish "this is not true" there was one "in California" she is dead "Dottie has been caught several times by certain specialist individuals in California on a lake not accessible to regular boats as it is a water supply lake.
