So I recently bought a Lionhead Goldfish from my LFS and ATM he's the size of a ping pong ball I wanted to know how fast he'll grow parameters are:
10gal AC30 68*F fed Omega One Goldfish pellets and Brine Shrimp WC 50% a week

10 gallon tank? You'll find out in just a day or two that that tank is too small. Follow your nitrates to an appropriate tank size. I'd suggest a 40 breeder or at least a 30 gallon tank of some sort. Otherwise he will just be slowly dying, not growing.

a good rule of thumb with goldies is at least a 40 breeder, you'll need the width. For every fish, allow 20 gallons. Most people do not realize how big goldfish get.

Im curiose to do they grow as fast as oscars or are they slow growing. I just got two ping pong ball fanceys

With good food and clean water, they can grow very fast! The single tails more so than the fancies, but my lionhead/ranchu cross I bought last year was about 2.5 inches when we put him into the big tank, and now he is about 5 inches tip to tail and girthy! My parents call him the football. Don't forget to add into any calculations how round they can get.

For now he may be fine, but you will be needing to get him a bigger tank. Personally, I like to have 20G for the first fancy and 10-15G for any additional fancy, though the big boys like orandas, ranchu and ryukins will need more.

They get pretty big.

It all depends on the food, water quality, and if you have good genetics, but with the right conditions they will grow nice and big for you very fast!

with a 10 gallon, what i would do is only fill the tank half way. feed it high protein, like live/frozen bloodworms and other pellets during the day. feed every 2-3 hours. and do water changes every other day. that should make it grow faster.

I have a ~5.5" long by 2" wide(!) pearlscale in a 25G. Had her for about a year now. I would not add anything else to this tank, especially another fancy GF!

Tankmates now include 5 cory cats (1-2" each) and a blue spot gourami(wife won't let me rehome it). But the GF is the main attraction.
