Cool. I used a very similiar method with a detachable shower head in the tub of the guest bathroom. Just had to make sure the GF wasn't over when I did it. ;)

You get the best grade of sand at the pool supply stores. Home depots is really dusty.

Dude. Using the bucket method is too much work! Just dump all your sand in the tank, get a water hose and wash the heck out it with the spray nozzle right in the tank. Drain the tank. Repeat. There. Done! Go get a beer. :D

im washing my first batch of sand in one bucket and im well over my 40th refill. the water wont go clear. and its not even that much sand in the bucket. its still hazy grey and im using pfs. does the water have to be crystal clear?
