Yeah I know they don't have complex emotions but they do have natural instinct. I was thinking maybe it could be their instinct now that I'm the enemy and will hurt them....hope not. I'm sure they'll be fine, as soon as they get hungry they'll be front and center begging for food as usual.
 
I think hybrids are cool. I don't see why everyone hates them.

its just like most chiclids i guess, when you mess with their surroundings or so they get a little scared and get a little jumpy for a few days but will surely get settled and i think you gotta move one of them out else they will spawn again and you will have to go thru this again :)
 
Awwww that sucks. How sad, I would've let it be. Manacondas are pretty interesting, I would've raised a couple and culled the rest.

They're still sitting over the spot today like they're guarding eggs but there's nothing remaining but a few dead white eggs. At least the female lost most of her super aggression for now.

I did a yahoo search and this is the first ones I found. Festae x Jaguar is known as a Manaconda. Don't ask me how they came up with the name. It's kinda dumb imo.
