I used eheim filters for over 13 years and never ever broke down, so reliable.

I just replaced one of my Finnex Fugeray Planted+ LED lights (48"). This unit lasted 3.5 years working flawlessly attached to a timer (thus, not using the on-off switches) and illuminating a tank for about 10 hours daily. I have 6 more of these units 36-48". I love them!
The light actually still works, but sometimes (often) its intensity is very low, and a few hours later it may increase (or not); as is, I deem it unreliable and it may just quit anytime.
Although I am somewhat upset that it broke, I would say I got my money's worth and more.

Several AC 500’s, still running for 25ish yrs now. A couple motor swaps, and a few impeller shafts (worn from sand that got in them) otherwise none of them have needed replacing.

Found this Penn Plax aquarium vaccuum in my old aquarium junk box and was surprised it still works. It's over 30 yrs old. The original tube wasn't found so used extra parts.
Was going to buy a new one but happy l found it.
