if you are keeping a fish he/she should be feld regularly. if you keep fish and care turly about them you shouldnt go on vacation. otherwise you are a crueld and stupid person for having them in the first place and no better than little children who keep oscars from Wal-Mart in 10g tanks.

if you keep fish, DO NOT go on vacation. fish are your vacation. if you don't except that, then you should probably kill your fish and then yourselves and families.

wow

someone please :banhim:

Cyang, from reading your last few posts I have to ask, Do you even keep fish, are you withdrawing from nicotine? Your last few posts have been rude, uninformed, and phrased in such a way as to come very close to trolling. Please behave.

Have someone come and feed them on Wednesday, then maybe again on Saturday, should be alright though...;). You could put in one of those weekend feeders that is a block that slowly dissolves...most of your fish should pick at it and get some nourishment! Walmart normally sells them!

I never tried those weekend feeder blocks do they work well or are they just a pain in the glass and cloud the water?:)

Ignorant...

Maybe you have been misinformed about fish, in which case ignorance would not be your problem. I'd use the responses to this thread as a learning tool if this is the case. If not, maybe you are trolling, looking for trouble, etc. Don't bother.

As far as your fish go, I'd guess they'd be ok for that time without feeding them. What I would recommend though is that you do a water change right before you leave, then, if possible, have someone feed them half way. I would worry more about the water fouling if they were fed on the same schedule without having the water changed. I know I have had fish that have gone 10 days without food on occasion while I was on vacation and they survived (although very hungry when I got back). As far as what cyang says, don't take it to heart. If it came down to me or my family needing a vacation and my fish not eating for a week, the choice would be simple. Good luck with your fish.

500.... woo hoo! :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2
