78 should he fine. There are a few types that are better suited to warmer water, sterbai cories being one of them, and also one of my favorites. Do a bit of research on them. There are tons of varieties of cories.

You might take a look at some Brochis splendens, too. They get a little larger than a typical cory cat, but they'll get along great with all other cories. Plus, they can handle a little higher temperature range...similar to the sterbai. I like to keep cories in groups of 6 or more of their own kind. When all said and done, I'll have about 50 cories in our 300 gallon tank.
