How many 20 Lbs. bags of sand to get 2" depth in 75g tank?

WOW sorry i think those calculations are wrong, imagine about 7-8 twenty-pound bags inside a 75g. I guarantee you it wont give me a 2" substrate, it'd give more lol

I agree with a couple others here, that is a lot of sand. Three to four 20 pound bags should do just fine. I'd say four to be safe (80 pounds) just rinse it all very well first and start adding it, when you get to the desired depth stop, you might have a little extra.

I just switched my 150 gallon over to sand and used a little under 150 pounds of sand, I'd say about 130. I used play sand that I got from Lowes, it was $3.50 for a 50 pound bag, can't beat the price, it just took a couple hours to rinse it all.
