I have a ton of various sizes for acclimating/transporting, etc. I also have used them to qt in a pinch. When taking critters to shows, sometimes I like to transport my source water as well if the parameters are vastly different. I think I voted 7-8 but those are just the ones I use weekly, not the ones I have stashed all over the place and out in the shed for fish conventions.

I have about 9 buckets at home.. I generate about 1 every 2-3 months.. I have two kittens I got about a year ago... their now 1 year old... the buckets are 40lb kitty litter from costco.. so i have a lot of buckets for water change. But my buckets aren't cheap.. 11.99 ea for the 40lb bucket litter.. i only get them when costco has them on sale.. for 9.99 ea bucket

I put 9 but thers probably more.Mine are all old soap buckets,not great I know but I rinse them well then leave them full outside for a year or two as mosquito larva colonies before ever using in my fishroom.
