I actually do the same thing though. WC on the 220 SUCK 2 times a week.

I use 2 buckets, an one gallon for my small tanks and a five gallon for my big tanks

7 salt mix buckets. 3 in regular use the other 4 for storage.

^When you say salt mix buckets, do you mean you dose each bucket with salt?
You should try for a small tub or vat. It's much easier. You can find 55 gallon drums on CL, quite often for very cheap.
