How many oscars in 500 gallon tank

So I have a tank which is 500 gallons (2000 litre)
With one albino giant gourami and may put some bottom dwellers ( tsn or bichirs with pleco )in the future . Considering that I have 4 juvenile oscars 6-8 inch . On a longer run in this tank shoul I give two of them back or will all four oscars be able to live together.

also what are some possible plants that can survive these guys

Generally speaking, your 4 half grown oscars should work, even as 12"-15" adults in the size tank.
In a 500 gal plants could work with the oscars, but since your gourami is primarily vegetarian, plants are a long shot.
By giant, do you mean Osphronemus goramy?
Maybe something distasteful like java fern or Anubias

I think you'd be fine with the 4 oscars in that size of tank. Make sure you have some rocks or driftwood or plants as mentioned above to break up their line of sight so they can't continuously see each other.

Thx a lot
Also would tiger shovelnose be a good tank mate or would it be too big for this tank ( I mean if it does get too big I do have 4000 gallon and 25000 gallon ponds ) or can it stay here

Personally, I wouldn't have more than 1 pair of breeding oscars in there.
Oh **** guys stupid me I got it all wrong
It is 2000 gallon (8000 litre) sorry my bad

well your volume doesn't add up to the 6 feet in diameter and 30 inches in height. Unless you mean the radius is 6 feet with a diameter of 12 feet.

Oscars are a schooling fish. Foot print of the tank is more important than gallons. And thay like deeper water than most other Cichlids 30" or more . Silver dollars make great dithers fore Oscars
I would not put any pred cat fish in the tank, it will eat and kill your fish. Good luck.
