How many times should you feed your Arowana?

I know it depends on what your feeding it and how big it is.Mine is 8 months old and 12" long.I feed my Arowana whole shrimp once a day right now,not sure if I should be feeding him a little more or less but it feels like the right amount as of now.

If I'm feeding him whole shrimp then how often should I feed it to him.

not sure i have 3 arowanas together 15,14,6 and i feed them around 50 mealworms a day

I feed whenever i have time lol. I just hand feed mine until they're not interested in food anymore. It seems to work fine.

I feed every other day with most of my fish, some more, some less.

There is a post to instruct how many times you should feed your fish in a day.
Basically, 3 times per day for small aro; 2 for medium one; and one/day or one/2day for the large one. You guys should read more basic topic (sticky) before read the below topic or open one. It's good to you.

BTW, feeding in fix period is also good. Fish would be like human being - we can not eat all the time or an time, why should we treat our fish different?

Fixed schedule is NOT good. The whole point is to mix up the schedule. I can't imagine an aro getting food right at 6pm every single day.

Would you mind to explain your point?
I think any creature has a kind of bio-clock and would be better if follow such clock.
Any comment is highly appreciated. :)

I usually feed at night,i also feed whole shrimp to my 15"-16" Jardini,i stop feeding him when i see his belly puffing out because he would eat till he pukes,he has done this to me once before.
