How many should you feed your Arowana

From the time they hatch, to when they are about 14-15 inches (assuming your talking about silvers) is when these guys grow the most, and that is the reason why they need more nutrition. Therefore, i suggest 2-3 feedings a day is enough. Just feed them until they will no longer take the food. Once they get past this size, you can begin to reduce the feeding interval. Full grown arowanas should be fed only 1-2 times a day.
 
That is plenty to keep your fish alive,the way i look at it is if you want big fish feed them more,just dont over feed. Another thing with a topic like this everybody has their own opinion on how much or when u can feed your fish when the reality is nobody really has time to feed there fish 3 times a day. If you do great, i wish i had that much time dedicate to my fish. Just try to put a few feeders in with him every couple days or just give him more shrimp, variety is probly best if you get them stuck on just one thing its harder to get them to eat anything different later in the life of the fish
