Oh, David. Plenty of Oscars hit the 14 and 15 inch mark regularly.

So I hear, thats what makes it even stranger that there aren't any pictures of them. Surely somewhere along the way one of them must have died or been moved and the owner thought they'd get a good pic showing the size of it.....

Definitely depends on the buyer, if you can find someone who really appreciated that he was wild caught they will pay much more, but someone like me would pay around $40.00.

It's just a saying. It is meant to indicate when a conversation has run its course, but yet, it continues and continues, making the same points over and over again.

Is this Oscar still for sale? In my area a large specimen like this (assuming it is healthy) would sell for approx. $125 to $ 175 and would most likely find a home at that price.

I dont feel like reading all this junk about oscars but how do we know the true size of this fish? Theres no real proof of its size.

some members on here have come round my house and seen the fish!

just dont have the bloody time to take pics n upload as im a teacher!
