I would recommend using an aerator for transport as well as throwing in a bit of stress coat. When you get them home use the drip acclimation method. I had perch for a long while and they did great. But when I initially started my first attempt lead to 3 fatalities. I made these recommended changes and all 3 survived the second time around.
