I am suprized that you got it after 3 hours without it having brain damage
because every minute the brain goes without oxygen, the more brain damage when revived

His fish was frozen during shipping. This also makes resuscitations more possible.

i applaud your efforts and i hope this posts saves other doas. I feel sorry for those thank think doing that process is doing to much for a fish., ignore them u did the best that u could have done and it paid off.

Seriously, awesome dedication on your part. I do wonder what factors went in to preserving this fish for revival: low temp, drugs (for shipping, not for you) etc. Great job, he's a beauty.

I personally believe that this may be possible, especially with the lower temps at higher altitudes that the fish would have experienced during shipping.
