I've never heard the x pronounced as an h before. Is this how it is pronounced in Mexico?, because as stated in several earlier posts in this thread all the dictionary websites pronounce the word AXE-OH-LOTTLE. I agree that's the correct English pronunciation. I meant that in Spanish the x makes a sort of an h sound and the o is always pronounced as a long o. Words ending in 'tl' are of actually of Nahuatl (Aztec) origin, not Spanish, so who knows?
That's what my wife says - Got to love those bright red gills! I called my LFS and they said they had been getting the brown ones. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to the owner to see what morphs he can special order.
