I have a tank that is 84 W x 58 H x 44 D in centimeters, how do I work the volume of the tank out from this in litres?

Used to sleep during Maths lessons!

1 cubic cm = 1 ml of pure water. So 1000 cubic cm = 1 L. So, multiply your dimensions in cm lxwxh, and divide by 1000. I get a calculated volume of 214 L. The stated volume isn't always the same as the calculated value. Those may be the outer dimensions of the tank, whereas the volume would be dependent on the inner dimensions, hence the discrepancy.

easy if its say 55x45x30 cm you type in 5.5x4.5x3= heres another example 68.5x23.56x23cm type into the calc 6.85x2.356x2.3
