How to work out the volume of my tank in litres

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
do a google search for a tank volumn calc

Convert all measurments in cm, then LxBxH, then divide by 1000! That give u the litres! For example, 5x2x2ft tank, 150x60x60, divide by 1000 give u 540 litres!

multiply [width x length x height] (in inches), divide by 231, then multiply by 3.8

It looks like the same thing was said about 10 different times....

Same ol' same ol', happens 10X a day, of course everyone want to help, but it appears very few people read the prior responses & if they do they just have to be heard anyway, which is cool if called for I guess. :) While I'm at it, it seems very apparent, even fewer members actually use the search on this forum to answer their ?'s B4 asking them, that have been asked & answered 10x's a wk, 100 x's B4. Guess it would be pretty quiet round here if they did learn how & utilize their resources, LOL, but still, eeerrrrrrr, lol. ;)
:) :) :)

For all the noobs out there, this is too easy.

For the calculation of Litres. Take the INSIDE dimensions of the tank n centimetres. Divide by 1000. Thats your litres.

For the calculation of gallons. Take the inside dimensions of the tank in inches and divide by 231. Thats your gallons.

For convertion of Gallons to Litres, divide gallons by 3.78
For convertion of Litres to Gallons, multiply litres by 3.78
