How voracious are sun/eclipse catfish

Great. Well, this is a straightforward sun cat, no rare nigricollaris. From the body proportions and overall looks I'd say 8"-10" top. No way 14". Not that it matters much to you it seems anyway.

These are 14"-17", six adults of ours that died, still have 4x living in 1800 gal. The last one is an invalid from birth:

Yes, he exaggerated the size some, I’d say about 10” but it’s still ok. I got that leporinus in the trade as well
Those guys you have look nice! Hopefully this guy gets that size
