i bred my 6 pound tropical gar

OK OK I am a horrible person !!!!
No updates for sooooo long. eventhough many many people responded fantastic on my project.
here's what happened .
The guy helping me out on the farm LEFT because of the stress the gars produced on him. I was left hanging with some help who really didn't know his things.
anyway I still have a few hundred gars left. I will make pictures soon.
I was pretty sick with this for awhile, spent a ton of cash and not the best results.
What did i do Wrong ????
many things went wrong from the start.
i was sold frozen artemia which had ZERO nutritional value and lost through wrong doing of the employees also a lot of the live artemia.
we made fresh batches every day but it was not enough to feed the young fish. when the fish needed to move to the bigger food we ran out of artemia so had a lot of cannibalism.
no artemia ,alive, cysts or dead and frozen in Costa Rica at the time.
I was able to save the ones who ate the others and started feeding them live tilapia hatchlings.
this made them grow like crazy but is expensive to keep them in aquarium.
i put them in a separate pond with breeding tilapia. as my future brood stock. many have asked to buy some. I just don't trust them surviving shipment at this time as from birth they have been stressed.
I never want to sell anything that might not do well.
I hope i didn't disappoint anybody.
I love the site and forum and hope to be more active again.
