Is that check vlave at the top of the overflow? In what flow direction do you install it?

What would a set up made from 3/4" flow? 1"? This would be a good way to sumpliment my CPR202. I could grab floaties from the middle of the water column.

Could one make this with a checkvalvea? To allow deeper placement?
