i have a question this golden base kamfa the breeder said to me it's molting Gene's it's normal the flowerhorn have molting genes does take longer to molt?

Yes it can take longer and fade at adult size. Or not happen at all even if the gene is present. Lots of pretty random possibility when it comes to this. On this specific fish, there isn’t much we can tell you that the breeder himself can’t tell you better.
 
Flowerhorns, like Golden Base Kamfa, don’t have "molting genes," but the term often refers to their fading process, where dark juvenile colors change to brighter ones. This process can take longer due to genetics, water quality, diet, or stress levels. Ensure optimal care to support healthy fading.
