Few weeks ago I sold gary the gator gar to my neighborhood cause it attacked my silver aro with bite marks that almost chunked the new tank mate silver aro off and after gary has been switched to my neighborhood house he is with an 3 foot gator gar and the owner said my past gator gar is not bothering him that much which is pretty much fine and scary to have both gator gars in my neighborhood’s pond and also after few days and now my aro survived the attack now the damage is a bit too far gone already and he is with my 3 catfishes in my pond paroon shark and the rtc and etc. is not bothering him that much which is good and hopefully they will grow well together! In my suggestion in my way its hest to keep silver aros with non aggressive fish but bottom dwellers like catfish are far more good compatibility with silver aros in my experience I suggest you right catfish and arowana are the best tank mates unless the you choose catfish that have no teeth and unless you choose the wrong specimen like the man eater goonch or the wels that consumes everything with its own sharp teeth in my opinion.
