And for those curious, I put it on the stand myself.

Although that is impressive, its not a very good idea. Lifting and placing something this large onto a stand solo will cause a lot of twisting and strains on the joints which can result in weakening it. Just a little FYI, but I know too well that sometimes you just have to go it alone. GL
If the plywood is bowing you need to add framing to the out side of the tank. If the inside coating is already leaking then screw through the plywood into horizontal studs on the outside of the tank and it will stiffen it up. You need top braces to stop the front bowing. Unless the acrylic is too thin and bulging out in the middle.
If you decide to give up try and sell it as a reptile tank before you chop it up.
Check out the tank in the link. This is how I suggest bracing your tank.

So both are happening. The bottom plywood is bowing AND the center of the acrylic is bowing. The plywood is bowing because the acrylic is bowing. I'm honestly not sure how this was ever a viable tank, but I'm done working on it as a fish tank. I'll either keep it and get my wife a python or iguana, or sell it as such. We lost our 15" RTCxTSN this morning....
