No sign of the the blue beard that indicates female as of yet. Also the body is more elongated then egg shape. So Leaning male

I thought so, harder to tell when they’re young lol. Lil guys a handful, he dont play around when he eats, the other fish cant even eat. I might have to tank him alone.

That is more of a catch location thing than an age thing.

Exactly not all JDs get the purple colonization. The strain that TUIC is selling is from a specific catch location. They carry the gene for that specific color morph.
