Import my fish to US?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Where are you traveling to? Will you be selling any? These things matter, I recommend collecting only a few small fish that can fit in your carry on or be utilized as your personal item. As long as you collected the fish legally and declare them I have heard of it being done before.

No, I do not want to sell anything I catch. I want to study them.

From what i've read, heard, and researched you will need a import license. But as Kayden said some countries will allow a small carry-on
I use to do international sales for a moving company be very careful in both Brazil, and Cuba as the government is very corrupt and may charge you when you pass thru customs

Brazil might be hard. I know people who have bought fish back from Mexico, Panama, and other CA countries. I would call the USFWS get some better info, the plane part is the easy part. Its customs on either side that will get ya
