Im interested to know if any of the cichlids fight? I imagine they have disputes but as the tank is so big you can see them behave in this way safely without one killing the other? I would imagine it is wonderful to see them behave naturally in such an expance of a tank!

There are very few fights among the cichlids in either of my large tanks.oconnordaithi said:
A dominant male will just scare a submissive male or different cichlid species he dislikes away. No vicious attack required. Also Both tanks are L shaped and have barrier walls to reduce lines of sight between individual fish. Almost all of my cichlids display completely different personalities in the large tanks compared to being housed in tanks 800 gallons or less.
