Not sure.

I use well water but the cost would be pumping it and heating it.

The Ph is 7.4.

My area receives lots of rainfall so I do not anticipate any problems in the future.

I got the pair at 12" from a hobbyist in 1999.

They have added a few inches since then and breed every few months. They are unable to protect their fry however.
