They also tend to be much more active in the dark.

The moon lighs have been in the tank now for a few weeks and I've noticed that the Pang is out and about more often. Last night I came home to find him swiming and not hiding, while all the lights were on. I dont know if its the moon lights or the 2 pang thats got him out and about now. I've also found he is less skittish.

i've already suggested a larger tank in the past. A 20 gallon tank isn't really that big for a fish that has the growing potential that they do. Remove the cover and she would probably jump out

well i got home yesterday from work and found my large pangasius dead. He was nose down in the sand in the back corner of the tank and my pleco was next to him on the glass. The pleco wasn't eating on the pang, just chillin' on the glass next to him. I dont know what happened. I checked the levels in the tank and everything was normal and where it's been for the longest time. Somethings going on and i've got to figure out what. In the past 2 weeks i've lost the pang, 2- 2.5" madagascar rainbows, 1.25" blue ram, 2" blue ram, and 3- full grown black neons. The only thing that has changed over the past few weeks is i added 2 small silver tipped sharks. If I loose another fish I'm get out and set up my 10 gallon just for those 2 fish and see what happens.

I've had that pangasius since x-mas of '04 and was just under 6" long.
