Is my endli bichir gonna be ok?

It will be something very random and that takes a bichir if it’s not water parameters. For instance, found yesterday morning with no visible issues or signs, and was dead in the evening with something looking like an infected gill. I added a turtle ledge a few days ago because he liked to bask near the surface, now I’m wondering if he got snagged on something. Maybe even heater burn.

Point is it’ll likely be very unexpected that takes yours guys

Yeah, i know, I just didn't want him to already have existing health problems that contributes to his eventual sudden passing. I had an albino Sen and he was doing wonderfully, he ate the day before he passed, and all of a sudden, the next day, he was twisting and turning and couldn't swim properly and was belly up and then passed a few hours later. I was devastated and thought it was my fault for not taking better care of him, but I've since learned that bichir, especially albinos, just suddenly develop problems and pass. I'm so sorry for your loss, he was a beautiful, beautiful bichir :,(

I can second that roughly same thing happened to my albino sen
