Is this panda Uaru breeding behavious

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hopefully things continue to go well.
They stoped for abit.. it’s probably because I tried feeding them.. what the best thing to do when I see them breeding? Leave them alone and don’t disturb? Feed? Any help is appreciated.

according to test stripe these are the water perameters:
  • 6:35PM: KH 40PPM, GH 60PPM, PH 6.0 to 6.5, NO2 0ppm, NO3 0-10ppm

Just let nature takes it's course don't disturb or change anything at this time.

My male turned murderous when spawning started so if you have multiple pandas just keep an eye on them.
The female ain’t showing much interest now since I disturbed them... but male still wants it and is getting pretty rough... idk maybe she like it rough?

How did you disturb them? Female don't like it rough if male gets too aggressive you may have to seperate them.

They definitely don’t like it rough. Pandas are bad about killing their mates which is why you don’t see many successful captive breedings, IMO. I’ve talked to several people who’ve bred them and lost their females due to male aggression, usually because they isolated the pair. If the male doesn’t calm down and you start to see damage to the female (split fins, missing scales, etc.) it’d probably be best to try and isolate him somehow.

Well they are in a 120... the smaller of the 2 has afew missing scales but nothing bad... I think it’s cause there are other panda Uaru and plecos and discus to break up aggression on one fish
