My Turquoise Severum I got from petsmart finally seems to have begun to color up, however it doesn't look anything like some of the other turquoise or green severum Ive seen online.
Is this how they normally look or is it not finished coloring up? Mines currently is 4 1/2 inches in size.

At that size, no. Give him another 6 months to a year. That said, green and turquoise severums are generally mixed heritage fish and can vary in adult color, so yours may or may not look like any particular photo. Years ago a severum was a severum was a severum for the most part, without distinguishing between or preserving the purity of different collection points or some of the Heros species recognized now. Also, the difference between a green or turquoise severum is often arbitrary on the part of a seller and what they want to call their fish, with no real difference between them beyond the usual variation of the mixed heritage fish in the hobby.

It is a promising good looking young fish no matter what commercial name is pushed on it. Probably mixed heritage. All you can do is continue to feed well (variety, and including veggie items) and good water quality. It looks really good now and likely it will improve. Good luck!
