Whoever put this up and found the website. Thank you and god bless you. Honestly i thought overstocking is okay as long as i change my water more often like 80% a week but now that i found out that im 189% overstocked im seperating some of them to a new tank. This calculation strike a fear into me and i hope to be a better fishkeeper. Thank you Jakob and whoever it is that is involved with this website.

Note: Zig Zag Spiny Eel may escape - lids are recommended.
Warning: Florida Gar is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 24 inches.

Note: Reticulated Stingray features poisonous sting. If the stinger cuts you it can cause large local blisters and intense burning throbbing pain.

Warning: Reticulated Stingray is not recommended for your tank - it may eventually outgrow your tank space, potentially reaching up to 14 inches.

Warning: Water temperature requirements are not fully compatible between all selected species.
=> 24 - 27C: Zig Zag Spiny Eel
=> 12 - 25C: Florida Gar
=> 27 - 30C: Reticulated Stingray
[Display in Farenheit]
Recommended pH range: 7 - 7.5.
Recommended hardness range: 6 - 15 dH.

You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 214%.

Recommended water change schedule: 48% per week. (You might want to split this water change schedule to two separate 27% per week)
Your aquarium stocking level is 135%.
Your tank is overstocked. Unless you are an experienced aquarist who can meet the maintenance/biological needs of this aquarium, lower stocking levels are recommended.

this site is somewhat useful to a more novice fishkeeper. it doesnt take in account the actual current size of the fish. like my gars for example, are 8",10,12". not full grown, but captive raised gars only reach about 18".

They have changed it to allow for juvenile sizes of fish. Pretty cool site.

Jakob thankfully found MFK and posted my site for me. :D

I am the one who created AqAdvisor from scratch, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to post them here.

This was for a 180 gallon w/ Cascade 300;Cascade 600; and 24x72 undergravel filter. I have (1) 8''rbp and (5) 4'' rbps... but why the 111% thing? I thought you could have 1 rbp for every 20 gallons....

Note: Red Bellied Piranha should not be kept in pairs due to aggression. Either single or more than 2 are ok.
Warning: Your selected species may eventually require 111% of your aquarium space. You may need to deal with territorial aggressions later on. Try removing some of (Pygocentrus nattereri) or get a larger tank.

Recommended temperature range: 73.4 - 80.6 F. [Display in Celsius]
Recommended pH range: 5.5 - 7.
Recommended hardness range: 1 - 15 dH.

You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 178%.
Recommended water change schedule: 7% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 45%.
