I got my two JDs at a petsmart when they were about .5-1 inch now they’re both going on 3 inches and one of them was born with a deformity and it’s mouth is flat I’ll post a picture of it later but they both eat really good and look amazing the one I have posted right now is Astra and the one with the deformity is Astro
That's a very nice looking Jack Dempsey you have. I like that darker look to it. Sweet.
The way the spangling is strong throughout reminds me of mine.

Here’s a 6” male jack that runs the show. That’s a 10” Oscar that’s easily 4 times bigger and was Rehomed to me as he was a bully. He’s now just hanging witha pleco becuase he’s just an Oscar. Not a bully. That Dempsey will send a fish packing.
Really makes me “excited” to see what mine will do when he snaps...
