I was told at the aquarium that this was an jaguar cichlid and at first i thought it was a female jag but then due to it really slow growth rate as i bought her 2 months ago and she's pretty much the same size i have a feeling it mighy be something else like a yellow jacket cichlid please lmk

Looks like P. friedrichsthalii (formerly known as loisellei).
I agree with mailing definitely a p friedrichstchalli. Will act similar to a managuense but less homicidal in my experience lol. My female friedrichstchalli lives in a planted 125 gallon tank with a large bristle nose pleco and a pair of jewel cichlids. The female managuense lives in a 125 alone and still would like to murder anyone to close to her tank lol.
