update: I have made one of the biggest mistakes in fish keeping. I introduced a clown loach to the pack with out quarantine. Because it "looked fine" and I did not have the quarantine tank setup. I take it down when not in use or when I don't plan on buying anything soon to save space. An impulse buy clown loach cost me my jardini and over half my clown loach pack it brought ich, and gill flukes, which i verified by my microscope. I know you are not suppose to use meds with loaches and I had done the heat/salt method before and it worked , but I could not stand to see them this way so I brought some super ich plus thinking I could kill the ich faster and then I could focus on the flukes with praizpro. boy was that a bad move it was fine at first but i up the dosage a little and it started killing clowns fast. So i did a huge water change and after that my jar just started going down hill faster he was swimming in a very erratic way. I woke up to find him dead. I killed 4 prized fish from a rookie mistake I knew better than to do. Lesson: ALL WAYS QUARANTINE NEW FISH,AND DON'T USE MEDS ON CLOWN LOACHES.
