i bought 2 mice as usual for my ball python before i noticed he's in the pre-shedding days. therefor, he refused to eat, and i know it'll be another week or two before he'll be ready to.
i dont exactly want to starve the mice, and get them sick for the next 2 weeks while the snake sheds and then feels like eating again. i also dont wanna spent money on mice food from the store....will any old household foods do?? cereals and cheese and what not? there in a 10g tank with a small water dish for now.
call me crazy, but i do have a heart. even if im feeding them to a snake, its part of the food chain. but i wont keep em in crappy conditions and unhappy until that day
