Wow I've never seen one that big, biggest I've seen is around 16"-17" but that was a L190 not a L191, I honestly never had any idea they got that big, I thought they max out at around the 16" mark, I'd be making a claim for the biggest L191 in captivity in the world if I were you because 23" is just massive I've seen thousands over the years in the trade but nothing even close to 23", wow

I doubt its the biggest, there are a lot of monsters in China, etc. where most of them end up at.

Oh well either way you have one huge L191, its a monster and like I said far bigger then anything I've ever seen, 23" is insane

This might sound like a dumb question, but, when do they lose their stripes?

As with a lot of plecos and other fish, their colors change/morph as they get older. Ive seen some 15"-18" with their markings but at this size, never have, would be neat to see.
