Very intrested in this fish...How big does it get? I have seen pictures of them, but I can't find any good info. So if anyone has had experiance with these beautiful fish, I would really like some input!
Thanks!

Most of the Lamps (including Lepidiolamps) have fairly small territories and won't terroize fish from one end of the tank to the other, like centrals can. However, they can really hold their own.
Too bad you don't live in Calgary - just saw a tank of 50 for $10.00 each, and they are about 5 inches now (the LFS bred them, and they are VERY prolific when they breed).
I have personally never seen one larger than 8" though. They are piscivores in the wild, but they really go after much smaller fish. As long as the tank mates can't fit in his mouth, and your tank isn't too small, you shouldn't have a problem with them.
Check out Lepidiolamprologus kendalli instead. I think it is a much sharper fish. Slightly larger growing, a bit more aggressive, but still very manageable (though I hear these are much harder to breed for some reason).
