When he was in my community he was very calm but that was before 7" or so and has been alone since. Definitely goes after me super hard through the glasd though. They are definitely more stout in build than most amphs. My male devil is close to the same size but nowhere near the girth. He also will demolish anything when it comes to food. Not picky at all and lets me pet him at times too.
