leak at midnights!

Haha, I know the feeling. Sorry, I just caught this thread. Looks like you are on the right track, anyways.
You are lucky, though. My sump is too big to fit through the doors of my stand. If I ever needed to repair my sump, I would need to take the tank off the stand and take the sump out through the top.
 
so i tested it
it started to drip from where it was leaking :nilly:

but then it stopped :irked:
do you think the pressure on my inside patch might have pushed out some water that was still where it was leaking?
i filled it up to where the waterline usually is.
waiting to see if it starts to drip more.
if my patch didnt work im clueless where the leak is. :irked:

well i'd say best way to deal with it then would be to just wait it out. If the drip was noticable before and now it is significantly less noticable, then you know you are in the right area and the patch might just need a little more silicon.

Chances are though that you fixed it.
