Rpul Rpul keeps or kept a large leiarius pictus with a few other big cats at some point.

Yes, I no longer have the big one, but I do have a smaller grow out currently since returning back to the uk.

never really had much issues, some mouthing towards other cats. But mostly peaceful in a large enough enclosure.
I can’t see anything being an issue in an aquarium of that size. I kept my 36” one with a 20” tig. Not much issues, just make sure they have some wood to hide in. Incase there is any aggression, just so they can have a break.

Think you would have more issues between the tig and the jurense than with the leiarius. The tank is a good size and with those three you should find reasonable peace. Add characters of the hemibagrus group and the peace would no doubt be broken. My large L.matmoratus often has bite marks from one or more of the big Asian red tails or the variagatus but I don’t see the marks the other way round.
Have seen l.pictus with neons before now.

Thank you for the information. Can you house a hemibagrus wyckii in a community setup? What is the minimum tank size for this? Thank you

Depends what you call a community setup. I have kept one for a good number of years ant over 2ft with other cats and synodontis as small as featherfin and fish as small as full grown Oscar’s but that’s in 1200 uk gal. Keeping her well fed once a week and with plenty of hiding spots to go round. When little she wouldn’t share her 6x2x2 but when she moved into larger digs she was happy to share. This seems to be common theme in hemibagrus across the board in my experience albeit I have only kept/keep six of the family but have had five members of the family together in that 1200g .

Yes I can confirm the l.Pictus with tetras and other small cichlids , I did this successfully myself. I have some pictures and videos of it somewhere. I’ll have to dig them out,
Here’s a picture of them all getting along.

I've nothing much to add to the above going. It all agrees with our experience.
