I called Ken from total fish & pet. He said he doesn’t have it, and he doesn’t know when he will get them. Why is the Leichardti arowana so rare compared to the jardini?

Leichardtis are only bred in Australia (probably less frequently imported) while Jardinis are being bred in Asia (imported more frequently). Jardini are actually rarer and I believe more expensive in Australia. Anyway, good luck with your search.

this is correct, they're only bred by one place in Australia and only given out to a handful of people to import. This year they didn't produce very many, so we won't be seeing them, if we do it'll only be a dozen or so.
