Spot on with regards to that name.
Maybe... but Justink named the thread. If I am not mistaken, this must mean that Justink is attracted to such things. Which is ok. To each their own. We must live and let live and uphold and help each other, and if we disagree, it must be considerate and polite and, if needed to be aired, it should be done so it is to mutual benefit of increasing our knowledge.

What exactly is your problem with my view that opposes yours? People hold opposite views all the time about everything. I let you "live" in your thread. Let me live in other threads, where there is no confrontation (until you brought it), no?
If you are aiming to make me eat my words, then I consent and apologize. In my weak defense, my statement about "consideration and politeness" is conditional = "if we disagree"... whilst my prior statement about "human waste and arrogance" was made in an entirely different context and atmosphere. There was no disagreement. Nobody was defending the other point of view, my statement was not made in an opponent's face, and no one was getting offended at the time.
If I was posting with, e.g., your participation in the thread, I wouldn't have said what I said knowing your opposition. If you notice, I stayed away from your thread altogether. Which, BTW, why did you title as you did?
Finally I ask your forgiveness for expressing my views without a prescient that proponents of manmade hybrids might read it and be displeased by the strong language.

I understood. I was not implicating you of anything, not my place, nor my business
Also, having read what Rod wrote about them has conditioned my reaction some more... But I understand. Rod's also a businessman. It's up to us, the consumers to be aware that these fish are junk. If we don't buy them, they won't sell them, hence won't make them. Pipe dream but worth dreaming.

Just out of curiosity are you against all hybrids? Or this one in particular? If so why? I'm asking because personally I don't have any issue with hybrids as long ad it doesn't cause health problems
It's a long litany of reasons. On the top, I think humankind is making a mistake when playing gods. It will bite it back in the end. This particular hybrid is of exceedingly weak health and longevity. It is not vital.
I ask your forgiveness again.
Do you plan to keep reporting on your fish in your thread? Even though it's not my cup of tea, I prefer to learn about what's out there once it's out there. It'd be nice if you kept updating your thread every now and then.
