Leopard Shark

which makes them ILLEGAL

Just had a quick contact with my buddy, and they are illegal if they are taken by someone who doesn't have permits to take undersize fish. Putting all these talking on here without legitimate answers isn't going to work buddy.
Let's put another example on here...commercial fishing and recreational fishing. They both play by their own rule here. Look it up on the DFG saltwater rule book if you like to do so. And every commercial fisherman or commercial boat must have permits to do any commercial fishing.

common sense goes a long way, its just obvious that no hobbyist legally owns a leopard shark thats under 3'. Though you where telling a 13 year old an 1800 gallon pond with a 54 gallon sump with 2000gph is a GREAT home for a leopard shark for life. Also that its okay to keep 50lb bat rays in there with it. Maybe your missing the legitimate parts of the conversations that are posted on this website, "buddy".

Just read this, your encouraging a 13 year old to kill leopard sharks and other exquisite marine animals.

Quote me where I said that he should keep a bat ray in there? If you can quote me where I said that he can keep a bat ray in there then all hats down to you.
So since leopard shark is not legal, then tell me what makes them not legal? Don't even say that they are under 3ft, because I just explained everything about the difference of being legal and illegal when it comes to fishing vs fish keeping.

Oh and no, leopard sharks aren't illegal to own(there are 2 types of leopard shark that I know of, and I'm talking about the ones that you find on California coastal waters)...I don't know about other states. But not here in California. Plenty of leopard sharks all over the coast of California, batrays too.

i said encouraging, not suggesting. If your not helping the problem, you are the problem. I fixed my paragraph for you.

Here we go again, hahahaha. I don't think insulting like that ever helps the fish keeping community straight. But okay, this is your call. Good day, stay safe, and have fun with your fish. :naughty:
